Minutes of June 7, 2008

Meeting was held at the Pinicon in New Hampton, Iowa and began with the acceptance of membership applications.

It was determined that there were enough members to have a viable chapter of the Blue Knights. The meeting was opened with a nomination of officers.

Reed Palo was elected President
Dennis Sander was elected Vice-President
Larry Heckert was elected Secretary /Treasurer.
The by-laws of the Blue Knights International were adopted as the by-laws of Iowa V.

Discussed colors for the chapter including vests and patches, this discussion will be continued at the next meeting.

Lance Manson is going to check into the activities at the Davis Rally to be held in New Hampton in September.

Dennis Sander is going to develop a ride route for the next meeting, which is scheduled for July 5, 2008.
